What you will need:
Chicken
1 chicken breast fillets
Greek (approx. 3 tablespoons)rt
single cream ( approx. 200ml)
garlic/onion (1 clove/half an onion finely chopped)
masala powder (approx. 3 tablespoons)
mustard ( 3 tablespoons)
lemon chilli power (pinch)
butter (2-3 tablespoons)
Salad
1 packet of mixed salad leafs
1/2 of packet of cherry tomatoes
lemon (approx. 1 teaspoon and one slice)
balsamic vinegar
pepper
salt
parsley/dill
garlic bread
Chicken
- Wash the chicken fillet and pierce it with a fork few times, to create small holes. By doing this the flavour will be inside the chicken as well as on the outside. Don't worry you will not be able to see them later.
- Mix all of the ingredients (including the chicken) from the Chicken list. All of the measurements are only approximate, feel free to add more or less, especially with the cream, mustard and yoghurt. The consistency should be not too thick, but creamy.
- Place the butter in a frying pan and melt. Make sure there is enough butter to cover all of the surface. When fully melted, put in the mixture with the chicken. Do not wash the bowl with the leftover mixture, as you will need this for the sauce.
- Add approx. 250ml (full glass) of water to the bowl and stir in the leftover mixture, so it bonds with the water.
- Fry the chicken on both sides, then when you feel the pan it becoming dry and the chicken is sticking to it, add some water. Stir and put a lid on it. Keeping checking the chicken and adding the watery mixture. Add some mustard or cream if desired. Stir and return the lid on. Keep doing this until you're satisfied with the chicken.
- Add salt/pepper and parsley/dill. Stir.
Salad
- Halves the cherry tomatoes and fry them in a pan with some oil. Add salt and pepper and some parsley/dill.
- Put the mixed leafs in a bowl, add lemon and balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper and lastly add the fried tomatoes.
- Put the garlic bread in the oven (see the packet's instruction for the time) .
- Serve everything. Add a slice of lemon for decoration.
Enjoy!
